AJ Perez one of ABS-CBN Kapamilya Network matinee idol was declared dead on arrival in Paniqui Tarlac hospital early Sunday morning(April 17 2011).
AJ Perez died due to multiple head injuries caused by the highway accident. AJ Perez was on his way back to Manila from Dagupan City’s Bangus Festival event, when their van collided with a Partas bus along McArthur Highway in Barangay San Julian, Tarlac.
The other 5 companions namely Gerardo Perez AJ Dad's, driver Christopher Bautista, Christina Ferrer, Edwin Patelos and Danny Linunga were all alive and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
ASAP ROCKS gave tribute to AJ Perez thru prayer and song lead by Gary Valenciano at the start of the show, while the other cast of ASAP ROCKS wear white shirts.
Condolence to the Family, Friends and Fans of AJ Perez. You will always be remembered.
